Scientific Name: Bellis perennis.

English Name: Daisy.

French Name: La paquerette.

  • all leaves in a basal rosette.
  • flower stems leafless.
  • only one daisy per flower stem.
  • flowers 16-25mm across.
  • white daisy flowers with yellow centres.

Lookalikes: Mexican Fleabane Erigeron karvinskianus, which has more than one flower and leaves on the flower stems.

Habitat: Short grass, meadows.

Flowering Period: March-April-May-June-July-August-September-October.

Status: Very common.
